每次只会说“Yes” or “No”?这样说会让你更地道

用英语聊天时，每次只会用yes和no来表达肯定和否定？想知道还有哪些说法吗？以下这些会让你更显地道。

Okay / Ok / k / Alright

这些相信大家都很常用，也是比较平淡且不带情绪的用法。Ok 有时在口语上会直接简化 “k.”。

A: Hey, wanna go get some food?

B: (Watching TV)… k.

A: 嘿，想买点东西来吃吗？

B: （看电视中）…好。

在国外也常常会听到别人讲 okey-dokey ，跟 ok 是一样的意思，但讲起来比 ok 还要来得轻松且俏皮。

Yeah / Yep / Yup

这些都是从 yes 演变而来的，都是口语上的用法，会给人一种比较轻松的感觉。 Yep 跟 yup 是一样的，只是 yup 出现的时间比较早。

A: Do you ride a bike to school?

B: Yep.

A: 你骑脚踏车上学吗？

B: 是的。

反义词：Nope

Sure / Sure thing / Of course

表示「当然」，给人的感觉更为肯定。

A: Could you do me a favor?

B: Sure thing.

A: 可以帮我一个忙吗？

B: 当然可以。

A: Do you know the answer to the question?

B: Of course I do.

A: 你知道这题的答案吗？

B: 当然啊~

反义词：No way、of course not

Absolutely / Certainly /Definitely / Totally / Undoubtedly

同样是当然，但语气上更为强烈，有一种「完全、绝对没问题」的感觉。

A: 珍珠奶茶好喝吗？

B: 好喝，无庸置疑。

By all means

Means 有方法的意思， by all means 就是用尽一切方法去完成事情，有当然、必然、无论如何的意思。

Son: If I got into Harvard, would you pay the tuition?

Dad: By all means.

儿子：如果我考上哈佛，你愿意付学费吗？

爸爸：那是当然的。

反义词：By no means

You bet

完整的句子是 You can bet money on that. （你可以拿钱来赌）也就是很肯定的意思。也可以当做 You’re welcome 使用。

A: Are you coming to Jack’s birthday party tonight?

B: You bet!

A: 你今晚会来 Jack 的生日派对吗？

B: 会！

A: Thanks for helping me with the homework.

B: You bet.

表示同意、对、没错。 True dat 是口语的用法。

Can’t agree with you more

不能再同意你更多了，也就是非常同意的意思。

A: 独立思考对于学生是最重要的东西之一了。

B: 我完全认同。

直接翻译就是还在等什么呢，表示同意。

A: Do you want to go watch The Revenant?

Hell, yes / Hell, yeah
