国家卫健委高级别专家组组长钟南山介绍，本世纪已产生三次冠状病毒的事件：2003年SARS、2015年MERS和现在的新冠病毒。

Zhong Nanshan, the leader of the high-level expert group of the National Health and Health Commission, introduced that three coronavirus incidents have occurred in this century: SARS in 2003, MERS in 2015, and now the new coronavirus.

三种冠状病毒都有很强的传染性，SARS致死率是10%，MERS接近30%，新冠病毒均值大概在1-2%左右。

All three coronaviruses are highly infectious. The lethal rate of SARS is 10%, the MERS is close to 30%, and the average value of new coronavirus is about 1-2%.

SARS发生17年来，一度把它当做是偶然事件，所以这次准备还是不足。

In the 17 years since SARS occurred, it was once considered an accident, so this time it was not prepared enough.
